Dr. Shubha Soni-Gaur
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Soni grew up in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and moved to New York for college. She graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College and received her DDS from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. She then perused her passion for pediatric dentistry and completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University. She is a board-certified pediatric dentist.
She is dedicated to providing dental care to children in need. During her second year of residency, she traveled to the Philippines on a dental outreach mission. She served on the faculty at Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry for over 10 years. Currently, Dr. Soni works with NYU Langone’s School Health Program to improve accessibility to dental care by providing treatment to children through clinics located in public schools throughout New York City.
The best thing about her job? She enjoys having the opportunity to make visiting the dentist a fun, educational, and exciting experience for children and parents alike! Her goal is to help families establish a dental home where children are able to develop lasting dental habits that give them smiles they can be proud of for a lifetime.
She is married to Dr. Gaur, and they have three children. When she isn’t at the office, she enjoys exercising, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
